As usual, a good day was had in Newcastle by all who attended. Numbers were down mainly due to prior engagements with health issues and holiday absences, but good conversations were had and old friendships cemented further. Waistlines received the mandatory abuse with a great variety of food from the RSL Caterers. Ron Welsh welcomed and thanked all who attended and Jim Richardson gave apologies and also thanked those who attended.
Graeme Bool, our Immediate Past President, thanked the Newcastle Committee and membership for their hospitality and efforts in making us all welcome. He also pledged ANZROC (NSW) continued support for this and all other satellite venues throughout the State while ever we are able to do so. The usual lucky door prizes were well received and the hosts ensured those visitors from out of the district were back at the Station in time for their trip home. Always a good day and recommended for those who are able to make the trip.
